Artist's Comments

Taken on the way back to Cape Town from Swellendam ... at 140km per hour.

I quite like this shot because of the photographic errors. makes it interesting. It works for me :-)

I wouldn't really call them photographic errors, looks pretty good to me!

What a delight this is! All this inventing, this producing, takes place in a pleasing, lively dream.

Thanks :D I'm glad you appreciate it. I thought it was cool myself. Not many people did... I think if it was framed and on a wall at a gallery, people would probably have a different opinion of it. Don't you think?

Photographic errors??? I think the image works rather well myself. The telegraph poles create a nice feel of perspective, and the clouds behind them reinforce it. While some might feel that the bike/rider has been cut out of the image, I prefer to think that there is an almost perfect amount of them in there.

Thanks ... that's how I felt about it.

Good. Then we are agreed: there are no photographic errors :highfive:

Errors? Huh? I see no 'errors'. This came out great, considering you shot it out of a moving car (ahem, hope someone else was driving) It really gives a feeling of a 'real' moment captured in time, and I like how the clouds seem to be trapped in the phone lines =P

I personally think we should take all the world leaders, put them in a bull-pit and let them fight to the death. Then the rest of us can go party.

A man who steals bread is desperate; a man who steals art is pond-scum.
