My favorite Hindu goddess. Normally blue or black, but I felt white looked better this time round.
Please zoom in. The beauty is in the detail.
A non-conventional Kali. Kali is supposed to be black. It's to denote the class of people that worship her ... I've been told that in Calcutta she is worship by the lower classes and light skin is considered a trait of the wealthy. And that's why she's suppose to be black or blue. So I've made her deathly pale instead. (looks scarier anyway).
This is going to give me nightmares every time I look into the mirror... Sooo glad that this pic is finally finished. Looking forward to your next offering!
