hands down - crash. the atrocity exhibition is amazing and advanced, but if you like burroughs it shouldn't break your brain too badly. it took me quite a few reads to "get it", but it changed my view on language along the way.

I know of JG Ballard ... and have only heard good things about him ... can't say I've read any of his books. Got a couple though. Which do you suggest?

actually, i just changed from one of my wsb avatars a few days ago. one of my favorite authors. my name is actually from a jg ballard story with a somewhat benway-ish doctor in it. those two are probably my two fave writers ever.
